Michael Leary’s return to music is a story worth hearing.
After a hit-and-run accident in 2014 brought a decade of musical momentum to a sudden stop, Michael was unable to physically play his instruments or walk on his own for six years.
But music wasn’t finished with him.
In 2024, Michael made his long-awaited return to the stage at an open mic at Snugs in New Paltz. Today, he’s back performing regularly throughout the Hudson Valley as a member of four different bands, along with his solo project, The Learicist.
