Have you been wanting to learn American Mahjong but have no idea where to start? Grab a friend and join us for a fun, relaxed evening of tiles, laughs, and learning with Lauren White of Hudson Valley Mahj!

This beginner-friendly lesson is perfect for first-time players, anyone who has tried Mahjong before but needs a fresh start, or anyone who's simply curious about the game.

Lauren will walk you through the basics, from understanding the tiles and how the game flows to building a hand and actually playing. You'll get clear explanations, hands-on practice, plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and guided play to help everything start to click.

No experience necessary and no need to bring anything. Just come ready to learn, play, and have fun!

By the end of the evening, you'll have a better understanding of American Mahjong, more confidence at the table, and possibly a brand-new obsession.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Lauren White is a National Board Certified Teacher turned Mahjong Instructor! She loves welcoming new faces to the table and creating a comfortable, low-pressure space for connection and learning. Her teaching style is warm, approachable, and—most importantly—FUN.
